Communities who have historically experienced systemic and programmatic inequities in employment and economic outcomes.
The training will include technology literacy training, online or hybrid online, classroom training, on-the-job apprenticeship, Employer Support Training for substance abuse, formerly incarcerated and veterans individuals.
The program will sponsor the training required for the veteran to earn the certifications required for placement. Place the veteran in full-time employment with an organization that will support and encourage family stabilization.
The program will establish structured skill base apprenticeships in the areas of technology, construction and renewable energy.
Participants who have never worked before or who have been out of the workforce for a long enough time to make it as if they are entering the workforce for the first time. The program will included long-term unemployed and formerly incarcerated individuals.
Participants who were terminated or laid-off or have received a notice of termination or layoff from employment; or were self-employed but are now unemployed.
Partipants who are employed but need the training to secure full-time employment, advance in their careers, or retain their current occupations. This includes low-wage and medium-wage workers who need to upgrade their skills to retain employment or advance in their careers, and workers who are currently working part-time.
Participants who are veterans or eligible spouses identify a vocation or field, unemployed veterans, veterans with disabilities.
